Can you imagine how smoothly the last eight years could have gone if President-elect Bush had received the same adoration and worship from the media that President-elect Barack Obama is receiving?
I'm mindful of the saying 'the higher they rise, the harder they fall' (or some variation of that sentiment) though.
It would have been nice if President Bush had been able to catch at least one break from the press during his tenure. I know, I know, that would have been asking for a miracle.
